In Sunday school throughout the BELC we teach bible lessons, memorize bible passages, play games and provide coloring pictures.
Number of children in Sunday school in the following districts: 1457 Koppedu, 1371 Chittoor, 1085 Sri Kalahastri, 1214 Uthukottai, 1270 Vanyimbadi, 1395 Chennai, 1420 Tiruvallure, 987 Tiruttani, 376 Ambur, 123 Ponneri, 765 Puttur, 854 Madanapalli.
Total 12317 children
We also have VBS programs throughout the BELC.
In our VBS programs we use coloring pictures and bible stories provided by the Invisible Sunday School series, as well as those drawn by Mrs. Deborah Mayhew and prepared and printed by Mrs. Vanessa Ude.
During VBS children receive lessons, play games, sing songs and receive snacks. They work to memorize the small catechism, some psalms, parts of the Sermon on the Mount and other important passages. At the end of the VBS program they compete to see who has memorized the best. Here they receive prizes inorder to encourage them to learn and grow in scripture.
The year we enrolled nearly 11,567 children in the VBS programs throughout the BELC.
